It’s taken a month, but after first cutting the price of the PlayStation 4 in Japan and then North America, Sony has finally shaved some of the price off of its console in Europe and the UK, undercutting the Xbox One in the process.

Sony has cut £50 off the RRP of the 500GB PS4, bringing it to £299.99, a handy saving in time for the Christmas sales rush.
After four years, Sony is finally calling it quits on the device, confirming in a new interview that it is no longer developing any first party games for the console.
