For those who questioned whether Google would know what to do with Motorola Mobility, the answer is now clear: Sell it. It appears that all Google really did want from the company was its succulent patent portfolio, which it is mostly retaining. For about $3 billion, Lenovo gets the actual business -- and few are questioning whether Lenovo will know what to do with it.
