Virtual Testing Trims Real World Costs and Delivery Times (23:58)
"We have to provide better and faster services to our customers every
week and every month. We mostly had problems on issues such as the
accessibility, authorization, downtime, and private data for reaching
the other third party's infrastructures," said Hasan Yukselten, test and
release manager for TTNET. "So we needed virtualization on our test
systems and we needed automation for getting fast deployment."

Today's Story Highlights

Call of Duty Draws Players Into Brave New World
Activision's Call of Duty: Ghosts from developer Infinity Ward got the
honor of demonstrating the power of Microsoft's Xbox One at its
unveiling earlier this week. The game development studio reportedly has
designed new game-engine technology specifically to handle what the Xbox
One and Sony's PlayStation 4 can deliver.

SAP Seeks Autistic Employees
German software heavyweight SAP plans to recruit hundreds of people with
autism in a quest to staff employees who "think differently." Autism
affects people's ability to communicate and interact socially but has
the knock-on effect of creating repetitive -- to the point of obsessive
-- behavior. This makes autistic people particularly adept at analyzing
data and picking up on details.

Another Day, Another Distro: Antergos Linux Is Born
They say springtime is a season of rebirth and renewal. Not only have we
seen the birth of Cloverleaf from the ashes of Fuduntu, but now Cinnarch
has gone through a similar transformation. No real death was involved
this time. Rather, the Arch-based distro decided to give the Cinnamon
desktop at its foundation the proverbial boot, calling it "too much a
burden to maintain/update going forward."

Senators Piling on Apple's Taxes Are Missing the Point
So is Apple a tax-dodging evil company with a dark heart? No. The answer
is no. However, Apple is certainly a corporation, and all corporations
are driven first and foremost by profit -- no matter what the company
says about the joy of making great products. Astoundingly passionate and
driven individuals, who sometimes run corporations, might be driven by
the joy of creation.

Teens Starting to See Facebook as Old and Creepy
Facebook may have a budding problem on its hands with its teenagers,
suggests a report released Tuesday by Pew Research Center. Teens
expressed waning enthusiasm for Facebook in focus groups, according to
Pew, saying they disliked the growing number of adults on the site, were
annoyed by "inane" status updates, and viewed the drama commonly played
out on Facebook as draining.

Microsoft Could Be Saving Xbox One's Best for E3
Microsoft's new Xbox One video game console, announced with fanfare on
Tuesday, is certainly a step forward -- but the early reaction has been
mixed at best. Much of the massive attention it caught from Twitter
users, for example, seems to be anything but positive. There's a
perception that Microsoft focused too much on living room entertainment
and too little on gaming.

Qualcomm Puts Super High-Res Mirasol Magic on Display
Qualcomm, which has been struggling to market its futuristic Mirasol
display technology, demonstrated the product at the 2013 Display Week
conference being held in Vancouver, Canada. The company displayed a 5.1-
inch panel with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution. It also showed off a
1.5-inch panel embedded on a smartphone and on a smartwatch, but these
were apparently mockups.
