mobile apps.

Fingerprint-Recognition Flubs May Be Foiling iPhone Production
Fingerprints may do more than smudge the screen of the next iPhone. They
may be holding up its production. There reportedly has been some
grumbling in Apple's supply chain due to delays in getting the next
iPhone on the assembly line. Production originally scheduled for June
may have to be pushed back.

Ubuntu 13.04 Emerges to Less-Than-Stellar Reviews
Canonical has released Ubuntu 13.04, also known as "Raring Ringtail," on
the desktop. However, the release failed to thrill many reviewers, whose
complaints included the point that Canonical had left out several
features, including privacy protection and the Windows-based Ubuntu
Installer.

Amazon Box Could Be Another Ecosystem Building Block
The world's largest online retailer, Amazon, may soon challenge Apple,
Google, Roku and other set-top box makers with a delivery device of its
own. While cable and satellite set-top boxes remain among the most
popular content delivery hubs in the living room, they have been
challenged by other hardware, including game consoles from Microsoft,
Nintendo and Sony, which can stream a variety of content.
