REG WEBCAST :: Deep dive into Hyper-V

Hands on with Hyper-V 3.0 and virtual machine movement
May 17, 2013 @ 10am GMT / 11am BST / 12pm CEST.

Hi Etechnews Today,

You often ask us to show you how to use the abilities that our
experts describe. Join us for an hour that will change
broadcasting for ever: for 60 minutes we will show you how to take
advantage of the improvements and new features of virtual machine
migration with Hyper-V 3.0 and Windows Server 2012.

Our award-winning Regcasts are teaming up with training provider QA
to do the deepest of deep dives for you. And you can join in.

Virtual machine migration has completely changed since the last
Windows Server release: Paul Gregory, QA's Principle Technologist
for Windows Server and Virtualisation, will join Tim Phillips in
the studio to demonstrate how virtual machine mobility works in
Windows Server 2012.

We will describe mobility between shared storage nodes, virtual
machine migration without shared storage, network virtualisation.
We also discuss how network virtualisation leads to cross subnet
migration, enabling virtual machine migration to other data centres
either within an organisation or to a hoster or service provider,
highlighting the technologies which mean you can burst to the cloud.

There will be live demonstrations of how to set up many of these
features, if you want to play along with us. And, as with all our
Regcasts, we like your questions - the harder the better.

Join us for this deep dive into Hyper-V by signing up below.
