![]() | Republicans have tossed another brick at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau -- this time attempting to bar its director from delivering a progress report to a House committee. The committee chair claims Richard Cordray's appointment to run the CFPB is invalid, but that position is debatable at best. In general, Republicans have vehemently opposed the bureau since its creation and would like to see it go away. [See Full Story] |
