Asus MeMO Pad: Budget-friendly Android 4.1 tablet

Tablet devices are popular, but sometimes they are rather expensive, but luckily for you, Asus has a new budget-friendly tablet, so let's have a closer look at it.



Asus MeMO Pad comes with a similar design as Nexus 7, and as for the hardware specifications, this tablet is powered by 1GHz VIA WM8950 processor with Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. In addition, it uses 7-inch 1024×600 10-point multitouch display with 350-nits of brightness, LED-backlit and 140-degree viewing angle. There's also front 1 Megapixel camera with BSI sensor, F/2.0 and 720p video recording support. This tablet comes with 8GB or 16GB of onboard storage, but it also has a microSD/SDHC expansion slot. SonicMaster audio and MaxxAudio are available to provide you with high-quality sound, and thanks to the 4270mAh battery, you can use this tablet for about 7 hours. Regarding the software, Asus MeMO Pad comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Asus Studio, MyPainter and MyBitCast app.

Asus MeMO Pad will come in Sugar White, Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink colors, and it should be available for $149 this April in the US.
