Online Gambling: The WTO Loads Antigua's Slingshot (34:08 min.)
The WTO ruling that lets Antigua suspend U.S. copyright law has its
roots in the birth of online gambling. It quickly became a major part of
the Antiguan economy, but dried up after the U.S. pulled the plug on its
agreement with the island nation. The WTO ruling gives Antigua a new
card to play: the threat of opening the floodgates on U.S. copyrighted
content.

Today's Story Highlights
Anonymous' Hack of Bank System Startling for Its Ease
The hactivist collective Anonymous announced via a tweet during last
Sunday's Super Bowl that it had published a document dump including
publishing private data tied to more than 4,000 U.S. bank executives. It
included a spreadsheet containing login information and credentials,
along with IP addresses and personal contact information.

How to Fine-Tune Your Privacy Settings for Facebook Graph Search
Facebook Graph Search is coming, and now -- before it hits -- is a good
time to tweak your Facebook privacy settings. What is it? Graph Search
is a new search function within Facebook. It's not yet been officially
launched yet, but it is available in Beta. Graph Search differs
substantially from existing Facebook search functions.

Windows 3.1: Geeks' New Choice for Graphics?
They say everything old is new again, and it would be difficult to find
a better example than a post on Slashdot last week. "Why a Linux User Is
Using Windows 3.1" is the title of said post, which refers to a recent
NetworkWorld story by the same name. "About two weeks back, I was using
my Android tablet and looking for a good graphics editor," author and
said Linux user Bryan Lunduke began.

Nearly a Million iOS Apps and Discovery Still Sucks
There are well over 800,000 iOS apps in the App Store, 300,000 of which
are native to the iPad, and I'm constantly surprised and irritated at
Apple's inability to help its customers discover great apps. Of course,
maybe it's just me. Maybe I'm the only one who actively goes into
Apple's various App Store points of entry -- iTunes, iPad and iPhone --
only to walk away without downloading anything.

Fatigued Users Fall Away From Facebook
Tired of Facebook? You're not alone. More than half the members of the
social network have taken a break from it from time to time, and more
than a quarter told researchers they planned to spend less time there in
the future, according to a report released Tuesday by the Pew Internet
Project.
